Ah, September. The start of a new term, the smell of fresh pencils and books, and the excitement of seeing your friends again. The little ones are buzzing with anticipation, and we can’t wait to see them off on their first day.
Of course, as parents, we’re also a little bit sad to see them go. The British weather has done its usual thing this summer, but we’ve loved spending so much time together. We know they’re ready to get back to learning and making new friends though.
We’re really looking forward to seeing what they’ll achieve this term. Hopefully they’ll start bright and eager to learn!
We can also be excited to see what new activities they’ll get involved in. It’s so important for kids to have a variety of interests, so hopefully they’ll get involved in new things.
Of course, no new term would be complete without new uniforms. The last few weeks we’ve all been busy doing a uniform stock-take! Clothes, maths sets, PE kits… It’s expensive, but well worth it for looking so smart on their first day back!
These first few days can be a bit daunting, but they’ll settle in quickly. Resilience and adaptability is the name of the game. They’ll thrive in their new environment.
We can be so proud of the little people they’re becoming, and it’s exciting to see what the future holds for them.
